Welcome to my blog!

My fellow quirky little beauties,

This is extremely exciting for me! For years I have been meaning to start a blog, but was afraid I would run out of things to write about, or that I would bore you to death or no one would be interested in what I had to say, I could go on...

But, not anymore!

When I got the sudden urge to start writing a blog, I was still doing my BA. My experiences with skin care/ beauty/fashion were few and far between as I had no cash to splash (not that that’s changed now), and no dodgy skin conditions to worry about (oh boy, if only that was still the case). I had always been passionate about beauty, but I was not as fascinated by it as I am now. And trust me, I use the word ‘fascinated’ lightly, it’s more like an obsession, but let’s not focus on that too much!

If you had met me five years ago, there is no way you would have read my blog, not even if I ran around naked with “READ MY BLOG” tattooed across my boobies, simply because I wore NO make-up and used NO skin care, and my sense of fashion was worse than dragon lady-Hilary Devey (my apologies Hilary).

My fascination, shall we call it, for beauty arose five years ago after I developed what looked like a bad rash all over my cheeks. I later learned it was rosacea or more recently seborrheic dermatitis- it’s complicated and I will explain in a later post, don’t worry- you’ll soon wish I didn't!

Since then I have tried numerous beauty products, so many in fact, the money I have spent on them has been sustaining the beauty industry. The good news is, I can now share all my past, present and future experiences with you in the hopes that I can help you find your one and only holy grail, battle your skin calamities, or simply cheer you up.

If you met me now, you’d see that my skin is not perfect, my nails are smaller than a five pence coin because I bite them too much and my hair is always messy, but I hope  that does not stop you from reading my blog.

For now, expect to read, product and service reviews, make-up and fashion looks, favourites of the month, beauty thoughts & knowledge, general life experiences, branding/marketing posts, and whatever else I feel the need to share.

Thank you ever so much for taking the time to read, I hope you can relate and enjoy what is to come!

  1. No need for perfect skin or nails! if we all had perfection there would be no need to try new products to review... and lets face it that would be boring!

Look forward to reading more posts! (add google friend connect so i can follow maybe?)
