Professional Beauty Show 2012

My fellow quirky little beauties,

Who else went to the Beauty show in Excel London?
Whoever did, who’s as obsessed with skin care as I am, probably went through the same thrilling emotions as I did as soon as they saw the ‘Professional Beauty 2012’ entrance in PINK- Could a girl ask for more?! I nearly passed out!

There were so many beauty brands exhibiting their products in one single arena, from authentic organic beauty such as the gorgeous Pai organics to aromatherapy specialists- Aromatherapy Associates, to giant corporate enterprises such as Clarins, Dermalogica and Decléor and wonderful British luxury skin care line, Elemis - all you had to do was take your pick!

Less readily available brands also decided to make an appearance in excel this week such as South African made and owned Environ sold solely through beauty therapists as well as Image, along with Spa Fabulous who I learned is currently developing a product alongside Lisa Snowdon- very interesting.

And guess what?! Apart from one of the above mentioned brands, I have tried them all, so keep a look out for future product reviews.

I also managed to steal some time from the gorgeous Sarah Brown-Pai Organics, for a little chat about her products. The story behind the brand is extremely inspiring; especially to those who suffer from particularly troublesome skin conditions (if you read my previous post, you’ll know that unfortunately ‘troublesome skin’ is my middle name!). If you do not know the story by now, (shame on you!), Sarah’s constant skin allergies compelled her to start the cleanest, plant-based skin care on the market. Five years later, Pai products are sold in over 40 countries and have received glowing reviews from customers and press- I have tried this line and will be reviewing it in the next couple of months as I also have a couple of samples to try out- so watch this space!

Anyway, I write too much, if you have got this far I am seriously chuffed! Thank you!

Los & lots & lots of love <3,

Rita A.
